A fan of the Bullet Catchers series since her very first novel, Roxanne St. Claire opts for a different storyline this time and it works wonderfully. Mystery, deep emotion, a tortured hero and a woman with purpose, Edge of Sight delivers great romantic suspense. In fact, Roxanne St. Claire's writing goes a little deeper this time, making for exciting reading. Coming to terms with a war injury is traumatic in itself and this author writes it well. It’s clear to see the chemistry between Zach and Samantha despite the initial friction and misunderstandings from the past. I adore a tortured hero who convinces me of his sexuality and self worth, and Zach does that in spades. The first in the Guardian Angelinos books, if the rest of the series is a good as this, I’ll have to have a bookcase made just for her to hold all of her keepers. Keep ‘em coming!

Edge Of Sight is an exciting fast paced romantic premier thriller that grabbed a hold of me and didn’t let go. This is my first time reading Roxanne St. Claire. Having heard so many wonderful things about her Bullet Catcher series, I decided to give her Angelino series a try. The suspense of the story was a twisted thrilling ride with enough misdirection to keep me guessing till the very end. Ms. St. Claire does a fabulous job keeping the romance and suspense running side by side without sacrificing either. Towards the end they intertwine and race towards a climatic conclusion. I will definitely be returning to the Ms. St. Claire’s Guardian Angelinos series with her next in the series, Shiver Of Fear.

Edge of Sight will take you to the edge of your seat and keep you there for the duration. Roxanne St. Claire has crafted an excellent beginning to what is sure to be a thrilling series. Zach and Sam are prideful, passionate characters and they make Edge of Sight a shining star in the suspenseful romance genre. I’m totally in love with Zach! I was definitely displeased that he so callously left Sam in the dust after her confession of love but he wormed his way back into my good graces. It is hard not to find compassion for Zach, not just for the terrible injury to his body but for the scars that have been lingering on his soul since his childhood. Sam is the perfect woman for this brawny man. If she can overcome the broken heart he left her with years ago, she can show him the healing powers of love.
Edge of Sight is filled with cool and intriguing characters that I for one cannot wait to learn more about. There is a true sense of family in Edge of Sight. The Angelinos and Rossi’s give me that heartwarming feeling you can only capture among the people you love. There is just something so captivating about a family that fights for each other when the odds are stacked against them. I absolutely loved the dynamic between all of them.
Edge of Sight isn’t all about love and family though. It also harbors an assassin and one heck of a mystery. I felt the need to get out my notepad and help find the clues right along with The Guardian Angelinos. I love how Zach constantly makes fun of his sister Vivi’s name for her new investigative/security firm, a nice use of their last name. Edge of Sight throws you into a hot bed of police corruption, mobsters, and killers for hire and doesn’t let you out until you unravel the mystery and discover the mastermind behind it all. Edge of Sight is an invigorating spine-tingling adventure you don’t want to miss a second of.

Heartache and pain can take you down or make you grow and seeing how it not only made Sam and Zach grow as individuals is what a well written story is all about. Roxanne St. Claire has a lot to live up to following her Bullet Catcher series but I believe this group of individuals that she has created in the new series will be up for the challenge. This particular story lays the ground work and does in with an amazing plot, twists and turns you don’t see coming and main characters you are rooting for. I am grateful that Ms. St. Claire found her muse with this group it is going to be a great run.

This may be the first book in the Guardian Angelinos series, but it immediately feels like the characters are familiar and already well loved as the personal connection is so quick. With heart-pounding scenarios and a myriad of emotional issues to overcome, Roxanne St. Claire has created a story which takes over your every thought from beginning to end. Intensely compelling describes a romantic suspense novel by Roxanne St. Claire. There are frequently perilous situations where death could be imminent while emotional issues also take a toll on the main couple. Ms. St. Claire Esurpasses every single thing hoped for in Edge of Sight, as all superbly comes together to produce an unforgettable story of second chances and unexpected danger. From the moment Sam observes someone being killed, her life is in jeopardy and threats repeatedly crop up without any notice. More than a few of the situations in which she finds herself are terrifyingly realistic, and I definitely had goose bumps at the thought of actually going through such an occurrence. Luckily for her, Zach is often by her side and a man as fearless as he would certainly make me feel safe. I do not know when the hero of a story has touched me as Zach does on numerous occasions, and I just wanted to hold him for all he has suffered in several areas of his past. Sam also had me sensing her painful memories plus a number of new ones in a palpable way, while her strength of character made me admire her resilience in times of trouble. While Zach and Sam may have experienced differing opinions on the direction of their relationship, the one area they could agree on is their love life and they expressed their passionate feelings with fervent enthusiasm plus adoringly affectionate caring. There are quite a lot of characters introduced in the first Guardian Angelinos story, and those connected to the Angelino and Rossi families may be unalike in nature but each one is delightfully appealing and I look forward to discovering more about them. Ms. St. Claire has a prequel called “Taken to the Edge” on her website, and this free story about how Zach and Sam met should not be missed. Edge of Sight is chillingly suspenseful with surprising twists and an emotively heartfelt romance.

Few writers do romantic suspense as well as Roxanne St. Claire. The plot barrels along at a breakneck pace, pausing only for a few quiet moments and some hot sex that will leave readers as breathless as the action will. Zach's adopted family members all pitch in to help at some point and provide a wealth of entertaining and interesting characters, and the killer is seriously creepy. Sam, despite her fear, proves to be strong and resourceful, not a cowering victim, and Zach is a hero that any reader would want on her side in a bad situation. This is a rocket- powered start to what should be an exciting series.

Edge of Sight is an exciting story that will keep you interested from beginning to end. There’s not only murder, there’s abandonment, resentment, loss of hope, and then hope for the future, all the earmarks of a good romance book. Introducing the Guardian Angelinos, we meet this close family who try to start operating a business on a shoestring, relying on each other. Zach is starting to come to terms with his resentment, and it will be interesting to see how he learns to appreciate the part they played in making him the man he is. So dive into this topsy-turvy family, bundle up and enjoy a true suspense novel that will enthrall you all the way through.
